We received a new update on Lucas today along with a new picture.....still no smile, but cute non-the-less. It is so exciting to see that email in my inbox and know that news about our boy is attached. The update says he eats well, has completely adapted to his new home, and gets jealous when the care takers carry other children. It says he runs and jumps around the house, he "accepts" orders and listens to stories. I can't explain how wonderful just this little bit of information is. I've read it over so many times already.
Still no Home Study, but it should be here tomorrow. I have the envelope already addressed to the NYS Department of State and as soon as it comes into the post office they are going to call me and I'll get it and send it on. I hope we have it back from Albany next week so we can send the dossier to HOLT.
There has been all kinds of action within our HOLT family this week. Passed court dates, people getting ready to travel, and three new referrals. These people may be the ones we travel to Ethiopia with so we are so glad to get to know them. Good luck to everyone!!!
