Our agency informed us on Friday that they have sent us some X-rays of Lucas by Fed-Ex. We are expected to get them on Thursday (tomorrow). Of course my first question was "Are they of his head? Chest? What?" I was told they were of his head and wrist. Wrist??? Yet another area of Lucas' body that has had an ill effect from the Rickets. I hope the report that comes with the x-rays will shed some light on the severity of his problems. The not knowing is the hardest part.
We are expecting to hear about a court date any day now. I check my email often for information and leave very disappointed most of the time. It is really starting to wear on me. I'm not alone though. Many families from our agency are in the same boat. There are some families that have been waiting 9 weeks to hear about court. We have officially been waiting only 4 weeks. I sure hope we all hear something soon. I'll leave you with some pictures that show how we have been filling our time.
