Well, Lucas had his first doctor visit today and the only thing missing was him. I had his video, his x-rays, his medical reports, and many pictures of him to share with his new doctor. Dr. K does not think Lucas' head is shaped funny due to the rickets as rickets usually effects legs and arms first, but he admits that the doctor in Ethiopia may have more experience with this. He was more concerned with Lucas' small size and after looking at the video and pictures thinks that the small weight we were given on the reports may be wrong. Time will tell. Dr. K is a wonderful doctor and I feel much better after talking to him. From our other children we have found that he tends to be a bit of an alarmist or overly concerned about things, and he was not too concerned with Lucas' health, so I'm happy we went.
There are 17 days left before our court date. Please pray that we pass the first time and can soon travel to get our son. Thanks so much!!

I have the material for Avery's quilt too, but I'm thinking I have to buy again. I got a piece 10 inches wide (since ours is 9 inches I thought I was OK) but now I'm second guessing myself. What are the demensions for Avery's quilt?
