ON THE WAY!!!!

Benji took our dossier to Fed-Ex today! I'm so glad it's on it's way to Eugene Oregon, but it was hard to let it go. There was hours and hours -no- days and days of work involved in that little package. I also admittedly have a problem with the fact that I no longer have any control over how quickly things progress. It is bitter sweet. Part of me is thrilled it is out of my hands, and part of me is not. It is completely in God's hands now. That is a good thing.....Do I sound like I'm trying to convince myself?

The dossier will be reviewed by HOLT and they will let us know if we need to fix anything (Please God, let it be perfect). If all is well it has many more stops to make before it gets to Ethiopia. They will notify us when it get to Ethiopia, but then it must be translated and then we are assigned a court date. We wait for our first court date which should be in about 4 month from now. Most do not pass court the first time so then we will hear when our second court date will be (about six weeks after the first). Soon after we pass court we are given travel dates ( four to six weeks after we pass court). So, our time line is no longer 5 months to two years, now we can estimate from 6 to 8 months. Does this mean I just entered my second trimester?

Lucas' birthday is in July. I would love to meet him when he is still 3 years old.

I didn't realize little guy was so young. You shouldn't have the ESOL issues that my student has. She's 8 now & been here for a year & is beautiful & wonderful! Keeping my fingers crossed for you! :-)
