I'm so glad I have that "kindergarten teacher" personality where I just blow everything off as if it's no big deal and explain how things really are. With five year olds, these comments are common and expected, the kids are just curious and don't know. It's a little different coming from a fifty year old, but he too was just curious and didn't know. No harm was meant and I was proud to advocate for international adoption. Let's see if I handle these things differently after the 100th time.
Kara had a very busy week last week. Last weekend Kara had her first Prom and she and Chris looked wonderful. I'm posting a couple pics to prove it. :)

Then it was two days of long rehearsals and a recital on Tuesday. Allison, her dance instructor, never ceases to amaze me with what she does with her girls ( and a few boys). They were all so cute. Kara was one of her assistants this year and the little kids she helped were adorable. I didn't take Lucas. I thought we'd wait one more year, but I know he'll love it.

These are some of the girls who have graduated and used to dance with Kara. They miss it so much. (Cassie & Ann Marie)
